Putting a home back in order without changing the owner's habits
Reading · 4 min

A home ready for its occupants is not a home reorganised without their knowledge. Here is how to distinguish upkeep, restoring order and personal organising.
Ask before moving anything
After cleaning, anything moved should be returned to its usual place. Respecting the household's familiar layout does not mean emptying cupboards or sorting personal belongings.
During the first visit, the Personal Cleaner records the agreed areas, the owner's preferences, things that must not be moved and instructions for linen. A written brief prevents unwelcome changes and helps prepare each stay consistently.
Work by area, following the brief
In the kitchen, clean the agreed surfaces and return used items to their places; check supplies or dates only if asked. In the bedrooms, prepare beds and linen as instructed. A final visual check confirms that moved items are back where they belong.
Private documents, medicines and valuables are not handled without explicit permission. A full reorganisation requires its own agreed scope, time and price.
A post to share
A beautifully cared-for home is also one where you can find everything as you left it. Before putting a home back in order, we check the owner's instructions: linen, beds, areas to leave untouched and items that must not be moved. Preparing for your next stay? Tell us what matters to you.
A method that preserves your habits, visit after visit.
Each home has its specifics. A first exchange helps understand your needs before any intervention.
